My housemate brought up something I didn't even realise. Every night I've gone to bed somewhat depressed. Every night, I've mentioned how much I hate having to wear 'male clothes' the next day. I didn't even realise both of those things. Certainly something to think on.

Any rules about dressing and gender at your work?

No 'rules'. I can wear what I like pretty much. However, we then slip into 'societal rules' and I have no wish to push the issue much harder than I have so far and perhaps lose my job.
