I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways

I went into Big-W yesterday to cancel a layby. Since I long ago lost my card, and it appears to be too difficult to give me a new one, the guy working behind the counter asked me for ID. I pulled out my licence which has a 'pre femme' picture of me.

He looked at the picture of a large, bearded, short haired man, then at me and said dryly, "You've changed a bit."

A friend of mine travelled on zir passport for some time after surgery. The pre-femme picture had a large Freddie-Mercury moustache. NO ONE QUESTIONED IT. EVER. Zie began to wonder if zie should point out to someone how slack airport security clearly was. The passport ran out in August 2001.

*grins*This is the first comment I've had on my licence pic. Even the day I used it when I had makeup and all on there was not one single comment.

I sometimes wonder if people even look :)
