It's all about sole...
I just went shopping for women's shoes.
I found nothing.
I feel great and energetic and bouncy!
I went out. I got measured (I'm a shade over 11 wide) and talked to salesfolk. Even the ones who were a little leery seemed really happy to help. Falling over themselves in fact.
Wow. I never, ever got treated so good when I went looking for male shoes, even by people in the same stores!
