Billy Connolly is one of my heros. I don't put him on a pedestal because he's human and he makes mistakes, some big, some small. But he is someone I can admire because of what he has survived and because I adore his outlook on life.

He can be childish and immature, but he can also be an incredibly wise man (though being childish and wise are not mutually exclusive).

I really would recommend to anyone "Billy" and "BraveMouth" both written by his wife Pamela Stephenson (another person I admire greatly).
